How it Works
Because you need an individualized approach, your journey to health will look unique. You may not benefit from every service I offer, but together we will develop a plan of action to benefit YOU during the first visit.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
The first time we meet can come with mixed emotions. You’ll probably feel excited to be moving forward but may also feel some anxiety about change. The main thing to keep in mind is I am not here to judge you, but to listen and help. Your visit will last about one hour where we’ll discuss your health concerns, lifestyle habits (exercise, sleep, stress), and measure body composition. From there we can start making your individualized plan, which may include recommendations for eating, lab testing, supplements, activity, and stress management.
What do I offer?
Individual and Group Counseling
Getting your health back is not as easy as just following printed instructions. To understand who you are, and what led you to where you are today, we must talk and share. Counseling can be done in-person, by phone, or by telehealth video conferencing.
LEAP Eating Plan
I am a certified in LEAP (Lifestyle Eating And Performance Protocol). After reviewing the results of your MRT test, I will help you design an eating plan to avoid the foods that trigger inflammation.
GI Map Microbial Assay Plus
Stool testing is the best way for me to examine your microbiome. The test gives us a detailed view of any pathogens in your gut, and the levels of good bacteria that are crucial for your overall health. Believe it or not, your gut tells us more information about your health and metabolic functions than any other test. Once we understand your gut microbiome, we can optimize your nutrition and supplements to transform your health.
Supplement Recommendations
I can make supplement recommendations and provide discounted rates through Full Script. Unfortunately, all supplements are not made equally. The biggest issue with poorly made supplements is absorption due to poor bioavailability. The second major issue is contamination – with fillers, preservatives, food dyes, and inflammatory foods like gluten or soy. I only recommend the highest quality and most digestible supplements so they can do what you need them to do.
Lab Analysis
Using regular labs ordered through your PCP (Primary Care Provider), I can assess imbalances in 6 Core Centers of Health: Inflammation, Oxidative Stress, Acidity, Calcium Imbalance, Connective Tissue Integrity, and Anaerobic Metabolism. Those same labs can also uncover nutrient and protein deficiencies, and dysfunction in fat and carbohydrate metabolism. Through Evexia labs, I can also order labs for you at discounted rates (cash pay only, no insurance billing).
